Second Life can be a fun playground but as one of the first metaverse platforms to exist with a digital economy larger than several real world countries, there are so many opportunities to make an income to spend in Second Life or to convert to real life currency as supplemental or primary income.

Vanderbuilt Realty is a Bayside City Realty company and the future setting for Selling Bayside.  Employees are not required to participate in the show. This position is for those who are interested in selling real estate around Bayside.

Residential Realtor

As a residential realtor, you will be assigned homes to sell to residents around the grid.  You will be responsible for sharing the listing, coordinating tours, open houses, staging and assist with any move-in questions your clients may have.  The more experience you gain and the more you are able to sell your properties, you will be given the opportunity for more listings and listings at higher price points.   Once you gain experience, you will also be given the option to sell properties or convert them to vacation rentals.

As a business realtor, you will be responsible for renting out business properties around Bayside (excluding The Monarchy Mall).  You will be responsible with understanding the business needs in Bayside and come up with creative ways to rent business properties and retain renters.

Receptionist

As a receptionist, you will work with realtors to understand their availability and help schedule in-office shifts for the week. You will send weekly reminders to realtors to submit their updates. You’ll direct any general inquiries in world or Discord to Zanevanderbuilt to be triaged by staff.  Assist with any clerical tasks that may be needed.

Events Manager

As The events manager for The Monarchy, you will be responsible for managing the daily event line up, coordinating one monthly party and communicating all club events to the staff, creating promotional material, promoting events, ensuring events are staffed, hiring Djs and hosts.

Monarchy Mall Manager – Filled.

As a manager at The Monarchy Mall you are responsible for working with the team to identify trendy stores that fit the aesthetic demand of Meela Vanderbuilt’s audience and in world communities.  You will assist with identifying these brands, outreach and retention through a series of events, social media management, and in world communication.

You will also be responsible for keeping up with Monarchy events to communicate with sponsors and identify sponsors’ products that are a good fit for Monarchy events and make those recommendations to The Monarchy’s event manager.

You will work with another mall manager to prep for each sponsor stream to highlight new items, identify which sponsors are still active and make note of anything that needs to be mentioned during stream.

Bayside City Role Play Admin

As a role play admin, you will be responsible for the direction and management of the city’s role play.  You will work with mods to create systems, processes, and events to engage and entertain role players. You will manage a team of mods to ensure role play duties are done and report updates to city owner and staff. You’ll help manage the discord by creating and removing channels, engaging in chat, assigning mods discord responsibilities.

As a role play mod, you will be responsible for the role play related to a specific part of the city – ie: events, legal, medical, etc as determined by the role play admin.
